Instructions for installing N series machine software

Please save the software attachment below to your hard drive, and then to a blank 3.5" high density floppy disk. Write down the machine parameters before beginning this installation, and delete all designs stored in the machine's memory.

Label the Disk: NS/NY System Disk Version XXXX

To load this software from floppy:

Turn the power OFF at the Automat.
Insert the floppy disk with the new system software on it.
Press and hold the Read key, while powering ON (on the Automat) until you see the "System Version" Screen.
Press the Read key to start the update process. Update takes a few minutes.
After the update completes, seek origin as you normally would upon power-on.

NS/NY Software

This software is for Barudan models with the NS or NY Automat controllers. These have a model number with "NY" or "NS" as the 3rd & 4th letters. Specific model numbers include:

BENYHE-ZQ-C02, BENYHE-ZQ-C04, BENYHE-ZQ-C06, BENYHE-ZQ-C08
BENYH-YN-C12
BENSME-ZQ-A12, BENSME-ZQ-A15

Nsb.sys Current Release V3.70 R03 (dated 11/2007)

NOTE- This software requires Boot ROM version 4.0 or higher

The Boot ROM version is shown on the bottom of the display in the Software Update Screen
Failure to have Boot ROM Version 4.00 or higher, will cause the Software Install to crash at about 99%, and give a continuous beep from the Automat. If this happens, you need to re-install an older version of software to clear the problem

BENT Software

This software is for Barudan Elite machine. Model numbers include:

BENT-ZN-101
BENT-ZQ-201

To load this software from floppy:
