Created for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s NASCAR Busch Series uniform, this eye-catching Superman flies off the back of a bright blue racing jacket. At 21" x 23" in size, this design was too large to be stitched on just any machine. It was stitched on a Barudan BEMSHE-ZN-12T and took 4 separate hoopings.

"Of course, it goes without saying, that registration is extremely important so great care was taken by the operator. To help, we established ’registration’ points in the embroidery where laser marks were used to insure proper registration," relates Von Gaines, a representative for The Fashion Group.

Total run time for the design was 14 hours. To add dimension, Superman’s face and hair included puff embroidery.
