Information: Format CF Cards for FAT not FAT32

SUMMARY

Barudan "D" series embroidery machines utilize CompactFlash cards. The machine will not recognize the folders on these cards if they are formatted as FAT32, even though they can be read and written on the customer's computer.

EXPLANATION:

Some newer CF cards are preformatted with FAT32. These cards need to be re-formatted on the computer, and then will work fine.

Procedure:

Insert the CF card into the CF Reader connected to the computer.	-->
Right Click on “Start” at the lower left corner of computer display. Left Click on “Explore”
Scroll and find the CF Card Drive, and right click on it.   From the pop-up menu, left click on “Format”
The format window will open, as shown on the right. On the list for "File System," select “FAT”   Click on “Start” to format the CF Card. When the formatting is complete, your card is ready to use
